Dr. Md. Monirul Islam is a faculty member at Noakhali Science and Technology University. Formerly an Assistant Professor at the University of Science and Technology Chittagong, his research focuses on Neutrophil Extracellular Traps (NETs) and their roles in health and disease pathophysiology.

BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Md. Monirul Islam is a Lecturer in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU). He previously served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC), a Lecturer at Primeasia University, and an Executive at Square Toiletries Limited. Dr. Islam earned his Ph.D. in Immunotoxicology from Aichi Medical University School of Medicine, Japan, where he also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine and as a Visiting Researcher in the Department of Pediatrics. He completed his B.Sc. and M.S. (Thesis) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh.
