BIOGRAPHY
Assalamu-alaikum I am Sajib Ahmed, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the department of Environmental Science and Disaster Management at Noakhali Science and Technology University. I have been actively engaged in academia and research with a strong commitment to both teaching and advancing knowledge in environmental science. I hold a masters in Environmental Science from Noakhali Science and Technology University. My academic journey has been driven by a strong passion for Environmental Science and I have continuously try to expand my knowledge and research in this field. I have been teaching here from 24th January, 2022, during this tenure I have had the privilege of instructing and mentoring students in courses such as Fundamentals of Chemistry, Environmental Sociology, Limnology, Environmental Communication and Journalism, Energy and Environment, Ecotourism, Industrial Pollution and Mitigation. I am deeply committed to student learning, curriculum development, and innovative teaching methodologies. In classroom I always try to emphasize student-centered learning, with a strong focus on group discussions, interactive sessions, and active student participation to foster deeper understanding and engagement. I also arranged several workshops for my students on questionnaire development, project proposal writing, project report writing, manuscript writing, paper submission process and personal skills development for examples communication skill (survey interview and presentation). In research, I focus on the areas of environmental pollution—particularly soil, water, and noise pollution—and environmental forestry, with a special focus on mangrove ecosystems. His academic pursuits are rooted in addressing real-world environmental challenges through scientific investigation and community-based solutions. Training: Rainwater Harvesting, ITN, BUET.
