Md. Mozammel Bhuyan
Md. Mozammel Bhuyan is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Information Sciences, Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU), Bangladesh. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Information Science and Library Management at the University of Dhaka, achieving first class first position in both programs. For his academic excellence, he received the Gold Medal (2016), the Dean’s Award (2018), and the Abdul Aziz Chowdhury Scholarship. His research interests include information literacy, digital literacy, social media, and artificial intelligence. He has published widely in reputed journals such as Information Development (SAGE), Digital Library Perspectives (Emerald), and as well as several other international journals. He is committed to advancing knowledge in information science and promoting sustainable library services through innovative technologies.

BIOGRAPHY
Md. Mozammel Bhuyan is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Information Sciences, Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU), Bangladesh. He obtained both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Information Science and Library Management from the University of Dhaka, where he achieved first class first position in both programs. For his outstanding academic performance, he was honored with the Lion Md. Jonab Ali and Farzana Jonab Gold Medal (2016), the Dean’s Award (2018), and the Abdul Aziz Chowdhury Scholarship for securing the highest CGPA in his batch throughout his undergraduate studies. As a young researcher, his academic and research interests span across Information Literacy, Digital Literacy, Social Media and Artificial Intelligence. He has published research articles in international journals such as Information Development(SAGE), Digital Library Perspectives (Emerald), Indian Journal of Information Sources and Services, Asian Journal of Information Science and Technology, Library Philosophy and Practice (E-journal) and presented papers in national and international conferences focusing on Smart library, information literacy and sustainable development in the library and information science domain. Professionally, Mr. Bhuyan worked as a Research Assistant and Development Officer at Maxwell Stamp Ltd. (UK-based consultancy firm). He also completed internships at the Bangladesh National Scientific Technical Documentation Center (BANSDOC) and the Dhaka University Library (DUL), gaining practical knowledge of library automation, information services and digital resource management. In addition to his academic pursuits, he has engaged in training and workshops on statistical data analysis, library automation (Koha-ILS & MARC21), and manuscript management, along with acquiring skills in SPSS, DSpace, Greenstone, and Microsoft Office applications. He has also participated in BNCC Capsule camp army training and IT fests from DU IT Society. Md. Mozammel Bhuyan remains dedicated to advancing knowledge in information science, with a strong commitment to integrating emerging technologies for sustainable library and information services.
