Professor Dr. Md. Ziaul Haque
Dr. Md. Ziaul Haque is currently working as a Professor of Management Information Systems, Noakhali Science and Technology University. Before, he worked as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems, Noakhali Science and Technology University. He also worked as Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer and Lecturer at Primeasia Univeristy, East West University and Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology respectively. Dr. Haque received PhD in Business Management (MIS & Behavioral Finance) from the University of International Business and Economics, Beijing, China in 2020. His dissertation was on the effect of online social networks (OSNs) on investors’ investment decisions in the capital market. His work has been published in many international and national journals including the Journal of Technology in Society, Information Development,Cogent Business & Management, Information and Knowledge Management, Int. J. Business Information Systems, Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies, etc. He presented his research at some international conferences on information systems. At present, he is working on Online Social Networks (OSNs), Capital market, Aritificial Intellegence in Business and Technology adoption.

BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Md. Ziaul Haque specializes in Management Information Systems (MIS), integrating expertise in Fintech, ICT for Development, Behavioral Finance, Online Social Networks (OSNs), Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, International Business and Technology Adoption with a strong professional and academic background. His research and leadership contributions reflect a unique blend of scholarly excellence and practical application in business and technology. Academically, Dr. Haque obtained PhD in Business Management (MIS & Behavioral Finance) from the University of International Business and Economics, Beijing, focused on how OSNs influence investors’ capital market decisions. He earned the “MOST Outstanding Student Award” in 2020 for doctoral work. He has published 33 research articles, including 19 in reputed international journals such as Technology in Society, Information Development, Cogent Business & Management, and Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies. His contributions include 6 articles in Q1, 4 articles in Q2, 1 article in Q3, and 1 article in Q4 Journals, with SSCI and ESCI-indexed publications. He has also secured research grants and awards and presented at international conferences. Professionally, Dr. Haque currently serves as Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies and Professor & Chairman of MIS at Noakhali Science and Technology University. His leadership roles extend to mentoring future scholars, having supervised nearly 70 undergraduate and postgraduate student project and thesis. His administrative experience, including service as Assistant Director of the NSTU Research Cell, complements his scholarly achievements, showcasing his commitment to advancing research culture and institutional development. His current research interests include Artificial Intelligence, ICT in International Business, Microcredit, Blockchain, Fintech, ICT for Development, and Capital Market Dynamics, where he explores how emerging technologies shape business innovation, financial decisions, and socio-economic growth. By bridging technology, finance, and management, Dr. Haque has established himself as both an academic leader and a professional contributor to technology-driven business research.
