Associate Professor
Dr. Sk Habibur Rahaman
Dr. Sk Habibur Rahaman is an Associate Professor, MIS at Noakhali Science and Technology University. He completed his PhD in Industrial Economics from the University of International Business and Economics, Beijing, China, under the Chinese Government Scholarship, and his BBA and MBA degrees with a concentration in HRM and MGT from the University of Dhaka. He also achieved an ‘Excellent Performance Award’ for his PhD performance. He has more than sixteen years of academic and administrative experience focused on being the coordinator of the MBA program, moderator, and assistant moderator of the sports, business, and social welfare clubs. He is the executive director of Caravan Multipurpose Cooperative Society and is involved with various other nonprofit and community organisations. The General Research Fund of the Academy of China and the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia awarded him several research grants (Projects # IFP-22 164, 2022GK10, 23JJB009, RG 230170, and RG 24048). He is enthusiastic about his research activities. His research interests are in industrial economy, energy economy, ICT, and HRM, and he works as an associate editor for MIU Studies. He published eighteen index articles, the maximum being Q1 and Q2. He also participated in national and international conferences in Bangladesh, India, Bhutan, Saudi Arabia, and China.
