Md. Monirul Islam
Md. Monirul Islam is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at Noakhali Science and Technology University. He completed both his B.Pharm. and M.Pharm. in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology from the University of Dhaka. His research interests include molecular pharmacology, natural product biology, and applied microbiology.

BIOGRAPHY
Md. Monirul Islam is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU), Bangladesh. With a strong academic background and a growing research portfolio, he has established himself as a promising academic and researcher in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. He earned both his Bachelor of Pharmacy (Professional) and Master of Pharmacy in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology from the University of Dhaka, graduating with an outstanding CGPA of 3.92 out of 4.00 in both degrees. Md. Islam began his academic career as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy at Northern University Bangladesh in September 2019, and was later promoted to Lecturer in November 2020. In January 2022, he joined NSTU as a Lecturer and was elevated to the position of Assistant Professor in January 2024. His research interests lie in the areas of Molecular Pharmacology, Natural Product Biology, and Applied Microbiology. He is particularly focused on exploring molecular mechanisms of drug action, identifying bioactive compounds from natural sources, and understanding microbial interactions in therapeutic contexts. Md. Islam has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed articles in reputable national and international journals, reflecting his commitment to advancing pharmaceutical knowledge through research and collaboration.
