Tasnim Alam

Tasnim Alam is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU), Bangladesh. He completed both his B.A. (Hon’s) and Master’s degrees in History from the University of Dhaka, securing second position in both programs and earning the prestigious Academic Roll of Honor. Tasnim began his academic career as a Teaching Assistant at BRAC University (2018–2020) and later served as a Lecturer in the Department of Bangladesh and Liberation War Studies at NSTU (2022–2024). His research interests lie in Modern South Asia, inter-state relations, subaltern history, and the political history of Bengal. He is deeply committed to exploring nuanced narratives within regional and historical contexts, bringing a critical and interdisciplinary approach to his teaching and scholarship.
