BIOGRAPHY

Mohammad Asadul Habib is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Technology & Nutrition Science at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU), Bangladesh. He is a researcher specializing in biomedical science, public health, nutrition, epidemiology, and translational research, with a strong commitment to advancing evidence-based solutions for disease prevention, precision health, and population health. His research interests include biomarker discovery, nutritional epidemiology, micronutrient deficiencies, maternal and child health, chronic disease prevention, healthy ageing, evidence synthesis, and advanced statistical modelling. His work integrates clinical, population-based, and analytical approaches to address complex health challenges and develop innovative strategies for improving healthcare outcomes. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed research articles in reputable international journals, contributing to the fields of nutrition, public health, disease prevention, and biomedical research. His scholarly work focuses on generating high-quality evidence through interdisciplinary research and advanced analytical methods to support healthcare practice and public health policy. Prior to his academic career, he gained valuable experience working with international humanitarian organizations, including World Concern–Medair and World Vision Bangladesh, under UNICEF- and WFP-funded nutrition programmes for the Rohingya refugee response in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. Through his roles as Nutrition Outreach Supervisor and Monitoring & Information System (MIS) Officer, he contributed to nutrition programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation, health information systems, field assessments, and evidence-based decision-making for vulnerable populations. In recognition of his academic excellence, research potential, and commitment to scientific advancement, he has been awarded the prestigious and highly competitive PhD Studentship Scholarship by Sunway University, Malaysia. This scholarship supports advanced doctoral research in biomedical science and reflects his potential to contribute to impactful scholarly work through innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and research excellence. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Science (Biology) at the Faculty of Medical and Life Sciences, Sunway University, Malaysia, where he continues to expand his research expertise in biomedical and public health sciences. His long-term goal is to contribute to global health advancement through high-impact research, international collaboration, and the translation of scientific discoveries into meaningful healthcare solutions.
