BIOGRAPHY
Sumita Rani Saha holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Microbiology from Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU), Bangladesh. Her M.Sc. thesis was titled “Occurrence and Characterization of Multidrug-Resistant Escherichia coli in Drinking Water Samples from Rural Areas of Bangladesh,” focusing on the detection and molecular profiling of antibiotic-resistant bacterial isolates from environmental sources. She was honored with the Chancellor’s Gold Medal and the Vice-Chancellor’s Gold Medal from the Faculty of Biological Science, Noakhali Science and Technology University, in recognition of her outstanding academic achievements in both B.Sc. (Honors) and M.Sc. examinations. Her research interests include antibiotic resistance, molecular biology, environmental and food microbiology, and microbial pathogenesis. She has authored and co-authored several research publications in peer-reviewed journals and is actively engaged in teaching, research, and mentoring activities within the field of Biological Science.
