BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Md. Toslim Mahmud is a molecular microbiologist. During his Ph.D. program he explored molecular activation mechanism of VacA, a key virulence factor of Helicobacter pylori. During his postdoctoral research, he successfully modified few AMPs to selectively and effectively kill H. pylori. Currently, he is running few projects on metal degrading bacteria and prevalence pathogenic Vibrio cholerae from coastal region.
